Memory Lane is a tradition that offers seniors a place to reminisce about “the good ole’ times”. The posters are arranged in a prominent location at Grad Night so students can gather, reminisce, and learn more about each other. Family members of our Grads, and school staff, enjoy the trip down Memory Lane as well!
Create a poster of your student through the years that becomes a memorable keepsake they bring home at the end of the evening. (If they forget, you can pick it up the following week.)
Get creative by decorating a standard-size (30” x 20”) poster board or foam board. Please be sure to create the poster in landscape orientation (more wide than tall). If your board is over-sized, we may not be able to display it. We’re sorry, but NO PLATE GLASS, OR PICTURE FRAMES, CAN BE USED due to weight restrictions and student safety.
• Childhood & current photos
• Mementos (unsecured items will not be repaired due to poster volume, so secure items tightly)
• Short personal note from you
• Blank space for binder clips or other fastener in top corners
• Your full name, senior’s name, and contact phone number on the back
Not crafty? No worries. You can purchase foam core posters at online providers such as Staples, VistaPrint, PosterMyWall, and Shutterfly…and they even have templates to use!
Boards will be collected the last few weeks of school. Watch for a notice with delivery deadline toward the end of the school year. Boards submitted after the deadline may not be displayed.
Please ask your grad to pick up their Memory Lane board at the end of the evening, as they cannot be held for pickup after school is out.
